Major and Minor theme updates
All Drupal 7 themes on sooperthemes.com have received updates. Especially the older themes: Urgency, Synopsis, Syan, Galaxy, Gently, Beau, CuttingEdge, Newmedia and ProPhoto have had major modernisations for Drupal 7, and have been ported to the Arctica+Tundra base themes. These updates are available to all clients free of charge.
Should I update my website(s)?
Faster/cleaner code
Google fonts instead of Cufon
A new and improved user interface for theme settings
Slightly more options for your slideshow
Skinr support in Drupal 7 (finally!)
Possibility to make responsive design-tweaks to better serve mobile/tablet users
(But the old themes are no automatically true responsive designs)
However, updating takes some time. The upgrade process involves disabling the old theme and enabling the new version. Consequently, all your block settings, block visibility rules and theme settings will have to be done over. The amount of work depends on the size and complexity of your website. If you have a simple website it might only take 5 minutes to put your blocks in the correct regions.
If you run one of the newer themes: Respondr, Deviant, HelloFolio, TouchPro, Arti - the updates are minor. Some improvements have been made to the configurator, to the jQuery plugins, to the HTML5 blocks and the number of available fonts is upgraded from 569 to nearly 1000 fonts.
What if I don't want to update?
That's perfectly fine. There are no security or critical bugs. However, if your theme uses Cufon you might want to download the latest version of Cufon for Internet Explorer 9 support.
Arctica and Tundra: our new framework for Responsive an future-friendly web design

Tundra is a base theme extender. It extends Arctica with interactive jQuery features such as slideshows and animated Drop-down menus as well as @font-face and Google fonts integration. Tundra also provides a BackgoundKit: a toolset to design your website with background gradients, textures or even full screen photos. For more information see:
