In DXPR Builder we are using Entity Browsers for managing and uploading files and images.

Default Entity Browsers in DXPR Builder demo profiles

  • Browser for files
  • Browser for files (modal)
  • DXPR CMS File Browser
  • DXPR CMS Image Browser

Requirements for an Entity Browser to work with DXPR Builder

  1. Must use Modal or iFrame view mode
  2. Must return File ID(s)*

* If your site uses Media Entities, you can use a Media Entity view in your Entity Browser, and have it return the File ID(s) of the images inside the Media Entity. This is what we do in our demo site using Acquia Lightning's FileUpload widget.
