Put a photo from your site's media library on the page, next to a short text. You find the picture by name, tick it and insert it, so every page reuses the same approved images. This is the recommended way to pick images; use [Entity Browser](/hc/documentation/learn-dxpr-builder/integrations/entity-browser) only when your site already relies on it.

## Before you start

- The **Media Library** module is enabled and the site has an image media type with the machine name `image`.
- **Browser type** is set to **Media Library**. You find it in the **Media** section of the [General settings](/hc/documentation/learn-dxpr-builder/admin/general-settings).
- You have the **View media** permission.

## Set up

1. Click **+** in the content area and, from the **Layout** tab, pick **Section**.
2. Click **+** on the section and pick **Row**; it arrives with two equal columns.
3. Click **+** in the right column and, from the **Content** tab, pick **Text**. Type a heading, set it to **Heading 2**, add one line and click **Save**.
4. Click **+** in the left column and pick **Image**.
5. Click **Select Image**: the **Media browser**opens with the newest images first.
6. Type part of the picture's name under **Name**and click **Apply filters**.
7. Tick the picture and click **Insert selected**.
8. Open the **SEO** panel, type the **Alt attribute** and click **Save**.

## What you see

The photo sits in the left column with your text beside it. The media item stays in the library, so other pages can use the same picture.

The **Media browser** offers more than search:

- **Add file**: upload a new picture from your computer. It joins the library for everyone
- **Sort by**: newest or oldest first
- **Grid** or **Table** view of the library
- A tick on each picture. **Insert selected** takes every ticked one; a field that holds one image keeps the first

Other image fields open the same browser: the **Background image** in the **Style** panel, the image lists of **Image carousel** and **Marquee**, and the poster of a video. **Select video** on the **Local video** element opens it for video files.

## If you don't see the media browser

- **A plain upload button shows instead of Select Image.** **Browser type** is set to **Basic file upload**. Choose **Media Library** under **Media**at `/admin/dxpr_studio/dxpr_builder/settings`.
- **The browser says "Media Library is not enabled."**The Media Library module is off. Enable it under **Extend** (`/admin/modules`).
- **The browser shows "Access denied".** Your role lacks **View media**. Grant it under **People** > **Permissions** (`/admin/people/permissions`).
- **There is no Add file form.** Your role may not create image media. Grant **Image: Create new media** on the same permissions page.
